Anonymous Tips & Rewards

Valley Crimestoppers is a citizen based organization which pays rewards for anonymous information which leads to an arrest of people involved in crime. If the information leads to the arrest of a person(s) a reward of up to $1,000 are paid with no questions asked. Over $115,000 has paid as of March 2011 and over 17 million in stolen property and contraband has been recovered. Without this information from the public, these crimes might go unsolved.

Information concerning crimes can be reported in three ways:

TELEPHONE: The first is via telephone at 760 341-STOP (7867). The caller gives information to the operator and after the information is completed, the caller then designates a four digit number to be used for future reference. A meeting is held once a month and the incident is reported to the Crime Stopper Board and a reward is discussed and approved. The caller then recontacts Crimestoppers and paid based on the Board's decision.

EMAIL: The second method of providing information is by contacting Crimestoppers by email info@341stop.com and giving your information.

TEXT: The third method is by texting Crimestoppers Text 'deserttips' to 274637(crimes). This should not be used instead of calling 911 if the incident is in progress but for information which need follow-up investigation. This information is encripted and no one will know your identity. This method is encouraged to receive information from students concerning incidents which need to be addressed within the school they attend or know about.
